Selfie Booth Co.

As Selfie Booth Co. transitioned from photobooth rentals to photobooth sales they needed to provide their customers with straightforward and thourough instructions to use their new Selfie Booth S5 units.

The basic steps to set up the S5 Selfie Booth, complete with illustrations, laid out for printing in a 5.5” x 8.5” booklet.

Selfie Booth Co. ships their photobooth units without the printer installed. This means that the next thing their customers need to know is how to install the printer. If the printer makes the unit too heavy to move, they also need to know how to remove the printer and transport it separately.

The camera mount in Selfie Booth Co.’s S5 can be set up for either portrait or landscape photos, but securely mounting a camera in both positions can be complicated.

The instructions on how to change camera orientation required further revision and development than the other instruction sets I created for this project. Properly adjusting the camera’s angle after changing orientation utilizes an ingenious system that allows the angle to be adjusted on the fly from the exterior of the photo booth, the downside is that calibrating it for landscape photos versus portrait ones is a less-than-intuitive process which took additional steps to explain.
